Olivia Pearson is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, and has lived in other cities such as Atlanta, Copenhagen, and New York. She received her B.A. in English and Comparative Women’s Studies from Spelman College and her M.A. in African American and African Diaspora Studies from Columbia University. Olivia's mission in life is to dream of, promote, and inspire people to advocate for equality. As program coordinator with While We Are Still Here, she is excited to advance the organization’s mission by helping to produce meaningful cultural events and programs that honor the legacy of Harlem and people of African descent.
